Dr.D is the best ENT in Tampa. I have been going to him for 11 years. I have suffered from sinus conditions my whole life and once Dr. D performed a sinuplasty it has been a world of difference. I would recommend his practice to any who has ear, nose and throat issues. The whole team is terrific.

I happily give a five star review to Dr. Derbyshire and the rest of the staff at Vitale Ear, Nose & Throat, it would be 10 stars if possible. I was seen by Dr. Derbyshire for a persistent case of hoarseness (thanks to my wife for forcing me to make the appointment). During that visit, I was told that I had growths on my vocal cords that needed to be removed. Within a week, I was in surgery having the lesions removed that turned out to be cancerous. Thanks to Dr. Derbyshire and his excellent staff for expediting my surgery and therefore giving me my best possible chance for a full recovery.

James is such a competent professional who is also very personable. He kind and compassionate demeanor are comforting and he greatly helped me understand my condition and treatment options so I can make the best decision. I highly recommend him and Vitale ENT.

In my initial visit, Dr. Derbyshire recommended a particular protocol for treating my sinusitis. I found that i was unable to follow that protocol without considerable discomfort. Dr. D seemed to understand the difficulty I had and recommended another evidence-based protocol. In my experience, some doctors become defensive or seem to blame the patient if the approach they’ve recommended doesn’t work for the patient. I sincerrely appreciate Dr. D’s listening to my reconcerns and responding with an alternate plan. Good doctor-patient skills, and good willingness to continue to explore options that might better meet my needs. Thank you, Dr.Derbyshire!

Very quick in and out, he was very professional and easy to talk with. He is also the first doctor I've seen that knew what a connective tissue disorder was without me having to explain it, that's something that I was pleasantly surprised by. Arrived for appt. Sat down and a few minutes later I was called back. Was nice not having to wait. The office was lovely well decorated staff was extremely pleasant. The gal who did my intake was super calming she helped me ease the anxiety. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Dr was very cordial. Listened to my complaints offered several ideas as to what might be causing the problem. He was gentle doing the nasal cavity exam. Not having answers is the worst part of seeing doctors when one is having strange symptoms. I felt I was in good hands and the time in the office was the minimum one would expect for such a visit. I’m happy with this doctor thus far.

I’ve seen an ENT since childhood and I can honestly say this office, doctors, and entire experience has been the best I’ve ever encountered. Everyone I talked with was very polite and accommodating. The doctors I met were very informative and detailed. I didn’t feel rushed or unimportant. It was truly refreshing to meet with someone who is willing to try everything in their power to help their patient. PA James talked with me and allowed me to ask all of my questions, and there were a lot, without making me feel like a burden. This office is over an hour away from my home, but I would gladly drive two if it meant this type of service.

My doctor was absolutely amazingly descriptive, patient, kind hearted, compassionate and a no nonsense kind of doctor, which I appreciate! I couldn’t here for 3 + weeks and left his office hearing once again accompanied with a prescription, as well as instructions to use nasal spray, allergy med and how to properly clear my ears 10-12 a day!!! The PA that did all of my hearing tests was very kind, patient, compassionate and walked me through the entire process. She explained everything to me in detail in regard to the tests and the results. I really appreciate that!!!! She even provided a print out of my test ( my request) and wrote in information that would be helpful in my understanding of the results. The staff were efficient, friendly and very professional ( I do hope that they get recognition for that, specifically) I must say that since Covid very few medical offices and various other places of business fail to provide professionalism now. Came in without an appointment because of severe vertigo. Dr. Derbyshire treated me said it would probably be 3 days before improvement,,,,I am about 75% improvedDue for followup on the 20th.

James checked my ears for pressure, and removed some wax in my left ear. Still have a tube in that ear. Return it 4 weeks!!

Prompt, efficient office. Best doctor ever! He uses the patients health, and how they feel to determine the efficacy of treatment! I drive an hour to keep this practice as part of my twice a year thyroid maintenance!

Satisfied with exam of throat which is why I went there, but to my surprise he probed my left ear attempting to remove wax covering my ear drum. He caused ringing and pain in the ear. He did recommend an otc product for my ear and after about a week it has started to improve.

Dr. Derbyshire was very effective at treating my symptoms and giving me comfort. I have now trusted my allergy care to him. He’s a very good doctor and I do highly recommend him! Can't ask for a better doctor!..The office is beautiful and very clean. The front desk staff are so nice, friendly and helpful. As for the in-take nurses before Dr sees you they absolutely don't fit with the atmosphere and make you feel unwanted or like you are disturbing their day...but it's such a small time we are with them that it doesn't take away that I would in a heartbeat recommend Dr Derbyshire! And also his assistant that comes in with him is a sweet heart!

I love Italian air nose and throat specialist because they care very much about their patients, and their office is always clean, quiet, and peaceful and the nurses take such good care of you and make sure that all your questions have been answered and the doctors make sure that you have done what you need to be done. First of all I needed to see him as soon as I could concerning a health issue. I got in the very same day. The receptionist was very kind, full of smiles. I didn't have to wait long before going into the patient room. A very nice medical assistant came in to check my blood and take information. Soon after she left Dr. Derbyshire came in. He was very nice and checked me throughly to see if he could locate the issue. Very intelligent Dr. Explained everything to me in a way I completely understood. The young man that assisted the Dr. was a very kind young man. My only regret is not remembering the names of each individual person there that helped in my care. I definitely would recommend Dr. Derbyshire and his staff.

Dr. D is an extremely skilled and experienced surgeon. He has performed both complex and simple procedures on me and although I appreciate how nice and caring he is, I would go to him for surgery even if he were mean and cranky. He is that good.

Saw Dr. Paul DiPasquale he was Fantastic!! I am NOT a good patient by any means. He took his time with me, explained everything he was doing and going to do. He did his best to put me at ease. I will be seeing him again in a few weeks and know that I will be in very very good hands. His compassion for me went beyond what I expected.

I had such a bad experience finding a good ENT here in the Tampa area. Dr DiPasquale ended my 4 years of discomfort and hearing loss. Making appointments even during the height of the pandemic was not a problem. They have a great team working in the office at Westley Chapel. To be fair I know the Dr has another location, I can only imagine that the quality care is still the same.
