Fat Transfer

Fat transfer is an artistic procedure used to transfer fat from one area of the body to another. It is used to rejuvenate facial thinning caused by aging or disease. Common areas treated are areas around mouth, lips and cheeks. It can also be used to contour depressed scars or surgical defects or injuries. The benefit of fat transfer is that this procedure uses your own fat from one area of the body and permanently replaces fat to another area. This technique can potentially replace the repeat use of temporary fillers, such as Juvederm and Restalyne.
